Sav Evangelou, Executive Creative Director, International at Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, triumphed at the IPA’s 6 One D debate on creativity in direct marketing last night after presenting a campaign promoting the Romanian chocolate brand Rom.

Sav was invited to present a piece of work which he feels represents direct marketing creativity at its best. He put his case forward alongside several other agency creative directors, including Neil Francis, Nicky Bullard, Steve Aldridge, Caitlin Ryan and Rik Haslam.

At the end of the debate, which was chaired by Patrick Collister of Creative Matters, audience members voted for the presenter who had made the best argument, and Sav was named the winner.

Sav said of the Rom campaign, "This is more than direct marketing. There was no call to action there, but a call to arms."
